What happens in the brain when the disease strikes? How do we communicate with people with dementia? What is it like to be close to someone with dementia?
The lecture provides a basic and easy to understand introduction to dementia as well as insight into how best to meet people with dementia in everyday life.

Why are we giving the lectures?
When a person is diagnosed with dementia, situations can arise that are difficult to cope with for both the person with dementia, the family and the rest of the network. Therefore, Kerteminde and Nyborg Municipalities, in cooperation with Alzheimerforeningen Fyn, Ældre Sagen, Friends of the Club and Nyborg Senior Council, will hold three informative lectures for all interested parties.
The three lectures each have their own theme, and one lecture may well stand alone. Of course, you are also welcome to buy tickets for all four lectures and get all the information. If you want to attend several lectures, you need to buy a ticket for each lecture. You should be aware that the lectures are held at different locations.

- Coffee and a little sweet are served.
- Unnumbered seating for the lecture. There are limited number of seats per lecture.
- Ticket must be purchased in advance. It is not possible to buy tickets at the door. Ticket purchases are binding and non-refundable.
- Attention: Tickets can only be purchased for one lecture per order. If you want to attend more lectures, you will need to complete several orders.
